The Lobi Crystal Consortium is pleased to announce that it has acquired some additional starships from a divergent time stream – the same time stream that brought us the Vengeance Intel Dreadnought Cruiser, the D4x-class Pilot Bird-of-Prey, and some similar starships. Their new exciting starships include the Kelvin Heavy Destroyer – the same class believed to have been involved in the split of the original timeline – and the D7 class, which is a force to be reckoned with, no matter the timeline. And now, these starships can be yours!

The Kelvin Timeline Heavy Destroyer [T6] and the Kelvin Timeline D7 Heavy Destroyer [T6] will be available within the Kelvin Divergence Lockbox, coming soon to Star Trek Online! Captains who obtain the Kelvin Divergence Lockbox Ship Pack will be able to choose one of these two ships, based on their faction, or alternatively can include the faction-appropriate ship first included in the Kelvin Timeline Lockbox! These new starships can be used as soon as you’ve completed the tutorial, and will scale with you as you level up all the way to max level!

For the details on these two ships, available as prizes within the Kelvin Divergence Lock Box, read on!

Console – Universal – Advanced Engagement System
When activated, your starship prepares to join the vanguard, increasing your Damage Resistance and dealing damage to enemies that attack you equal to a portion of the incoming damage. After a short duration, your team's ships gain temporary shields equal to a portion of the pre-resist damage received for 20 seconds.

This console also provides a passive boost to Hull Capacity and Turn Speed. It can be equipped in any console slot, on any ship. You may only equip one of these consoles.

Starship Trait – Into the Fray
While this trait is slotted, taking damage to a shield facing enables its stack of Into the Fray. Stacks of Into the Fray improve Critical Chance. When you have all four stacks of Into the Fray, you receive a large bonus to Critical Severity for a short duration. Afterwards, there is a wait before the boost to critical severity can occur again.

Experimental Weapon – Point Defense Matrix
The Point Defense Matrix coordinates a large volume of fire to protect the ship against threats from all directions. The primary target is engaged as normal, using the Point Defense batteries across the side of the ship the enemy is on. Once for each quadrant (shield facing direction) that does not contain the primary target, the rest of the matrix automatically selects whatever target in that arc has the lowest remaining Hull percentage and fires on it.

It may be upgraded like a standard weapon, swapped out for another Experimental Weapon and placed in any other starship's Experimental Weapon Slot.

NOTE: The above stats and details for all ships are subject to change.
