my normal download speed is about 500k - 750k, i get 1mb if i'm lucky at like 3am when the bandwidth is free because theres nobody on. I just started downloading the STO client and i am getting TWELVE mb/s???? any ideas why my d/l speed has suddenly shot up? |

from my experience the STO downloader is always faster than seems possible perhaps they are beaming it straight onto your Hard drive? |

Maybe your ISP decided to upgrade the speeds? Here they're doubling the speeds as well, but I could only dream of getting speeds like you have.  --- In 10 years I'll probably laugh my ass off about this post like I laugh now at how I loved getting 25kb/s on my 56k modem 10 years ago rofl.  If I had 10kb/s back then it was a lot already.
