So, I know that everyone has encountered them in MMOs, but I just recently found them on Xbox Live. I received two messages within about 15 minutes of each other, both with similar content. They were voice messages, otherwise I would have posted them here, but here is the gist. I assume they are on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, as that was what I was on at the moment. They are selling 10th prestige level 55 characters with Gold Desert Eagles for 1600 Microsoft Points (roughly $20).
First, one of them sounded like a kid, and he spoke way too fast, like he had repeated it many times before and like he was in a hurry.
Second, that same speaker said" It is not a scam" at the end. Yeah, right!
Third, that same kid had a fishy name: MEplayCOD2MUCH or something of that sort. Someone on his Friends list also had a website for CoD:MW2 glitching, boosting, and hacking. <----It's a sign!!!
Finally, THERE ARE NO GOLD DESERT EAGLES IN CoD:MW2!!!!!!! AND LEVEL 55 IS NOT THE MAX!!!! If they were talking about Call of Duty 4, then they are really stupid, since the fanbase for that game is quite small since the release of CoD:MW2, and most of the people who might fall for that were probably too young to get CoD4 when it came out. Besides, most people are either leveled up all of the way or as far as they want to go in CoD4 already. The game is 5 years old, after all.
Anyway, jsut wanted to throw that out there. If I get another message, I may record it and put it up here or something.
