Game seems pretty stable, but I'm seeing alot of things that need fixing. I don't expect things to be perfect, but I see nothing on crafting or alot of other stuff I would expect by now.

Even after launch I can foresee Cryptic fixing Glitches and such.. I think most games like this have glitches even after release.

MMO's like this are always being fixed or updated, that is what makes them fun to play!! :D

Yeah the game isn't going to be 100% when it's released. That's what those millions of patches and expansion packs are for lol.

The game is sound at its core i mean everything works I dont really get any crashes or anything all the connection problems have really gone away for me at least.

But alot of systems arent there , the whole crew thing , exploring you can see the rewards but exploring missions dont give the badges, fleet action rewards arent in i can name quite a few other things.

I think the game is going to release with an beta kinda feel its not really going to be completed but there always going to be improving on the game.

I think we arent going to see that 1 giant update every few months with all new content you see with other mmorpgs. I bet every other day when you goto start the game theres going to be a small patch of stuff being added at least for quite a bit after the game launches.

They have caped us at 16 and closed some of the zones you need for certain aspects of the game such as crafting.. Which would be at memory alpha..

I have to agree that it seems they have allot missing though and hopefully they get it all finished.. But I have yet to see a game with an absolutely perfect finished game at launch so I am just hoping for the best.. :)

Those in CB could see the Romulan & the crafting zones. They aren't that bad but yes, there is still waaaaaaaay to improve. But hey, this is an MMO. Show me one that is perfect ;)

Well for starters a completed MMO is a dead MMO, but I get what you mean. Overal, apart from some serious bugs, I think the game is ready for launch.

The biggest bugs currently is the ground avatar in space and spaceship on ground bug, which is caused by lag as far as I know. This will hopefully be fixed once the new servers come online and the software solutions are implemented.
The next biggest issue is the logging in/ disconnecting prob, which should also get fixed with the previous mentioned fixes.

The last biggest bug is the crashes when exploring with the Genesis system, in about 33% - 50% of the time a random map/ mission gets generated that doesn't have its map linked in a good way, which causes you to crash. I don't know what they're doing to fix that, but I hope it gets solved soon.

The other bugs still in the game are annoying, but not game breaking and shouldn't prevent a succesful launch.

When this happens to me I laugh every time!
As far as will the game be finished soon.. I'm with the general idea that an MMO is never finished, however I have played some MMOs that get 'over' fixed too. Meaning a patch coming out just to fix a nerf and to nerf the patch that was sent out previously. What makes this game interesting is that you can choose your own skills at the start of character building, so we will find out which skills make someone OP compared to others quickly (and look for the patches to come).

Because everybody gets the same space skills balancing is actually a lot easier too. The only thing that really needs balancing is the power between the 3 types of ships and the ground combat between the 3 different carreers. Other then that everybody is in theory on equal footing (same space skills, everybody can get the same loot for ground/space, BO's etc.). Compare that to WoW with its 10 classes and 30 talent specs and you can see why this game feels a lot more balanced already. :P
