Thru the course of ordering from D2D and GameSpot, as well as reading the forums, I somehow ended up with the GameSpy Comrade downloader/installer and the D2D downloader/installer.

For someodd reason, Comrade has been fast with less than an hour to download the OB CLient averaging 1.5MB /s.

Comrade is gamespy/direct2drive/fileplanets new toy. Instead of their old download manager they are using that. It runs on their servers which are amazing.

its very fast i like it only if it didnt come with all the extra stuff wish it was just a download manager and thats it then i would love it

I just uninstalled it.
BTW, they have a light version of it without all the extra crap.
