Since I am starting to see some names that seem familiar to me from back in the days of SFC (Star Fleet Command).
I used to have a blast playing Mplayer (old version of Game Spy) before they finally worked in Dynaverse into the game engine.

Just wondering if there are any one else out there who did. I am also thinking about going on a recruiting spree to get some of those older players on board. STO so far seems like SFC on crack. I believe these guys could be a great addition to the Fleet.

I went by the same handle back in those days. I might of had a "GFL" attached to the front of it at the time though.

I played SFC 1, 2, OP, and 3 for a short time. (Never really liked 3)
I flew in the SL (Starlance) league as well. With all the DiF, IcOp, etc guys.
I recently installed SFC2 and OP onto my new rig.
We should see about getting a few games going before STO launches.
I was in the 32nd fleet. s32nd fadg Damian

I used to play SFC 3. I went by the same name then. Wow, that brings back some memories. There were a lot of great players back then. Hellraiser, LordUppity, Spheric, Stingray, Colebrody; those were all some great SFC players.

GLF-Cocomoe (Gorn Player) was extremely deadly. Made those Klingons KRC look like toys.

I do remember the 32nd Fleet back in the day.

I had a slew of old games including these and the really old Rebel Assault games that I gave up to someone when I upgraded my computer. I even had an ancient Star Trek game in 5 1/4" disk before there was Windows. I can't even find it, but for the time it was very advanced (reminded me of Bridge Commander).

If anyone can find these games available, shoot me a PM. I'd love to stock up on them again.

SFC2 and Orion Pirates work well on Windows 7 Pro (the version I just installed on my new rig)
I've heard SFC1 is pretty much a lost cause, but when you can play 2 what's the point.
