How did you hear about the 12th fleet? Official STO forums

What made you interested in choosing the 12th fleet? You guys look professional

Primary STO interest (Mark all that apply to you):

( ) solo PvE, (X) Group PvE, ( ) Raiding, (X) PVP, ( ) Crafting/Trading

What days and times are you usually online?: I work 3 days out of the week. Those days vary some. For the most part the other 4 days out of the week I'm off and on throughout the day. I do work 3rd shift so the majority of my play time would be considered "late" for those on the East Coast.

Have you ever played an MMORPG? If so, which one and how long: Well here we go. World of Warcraft for over 4 years. EvE Online for a few months. Lord of the Rings Online for a few months. Vanguard for the first free month that came with the game. Everquest II for a couple of months. Warhammer Online for the first free month that came with the game. Runes of Magic for quite some time. NUMEROUS other f2p mmorpgs for various times.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

In a paragraph please explain how you will benefit the 12th fleet?
Honestly I can't answer that question to well until I know how the fleet is. That answer might seem like a cop out but it's really pretty simple. If once I'm in and the fleet seems to be pretty amazing all around then I will of course strive to simply add to the greatness. If I am in and can see and recognize a few weaknesses then that would be my main goal, to try and better them. I'm not saying it to sound like I would come in and start tying to call shots, I'm saying it to show that I'm open to being led down a path that is for the greater good. For example my main focus once at end game will be PvP and raids. If however my admiral tells me we're pretty strong there but sorely lacking in crafting components then I would bow out of the PvP or raid Q and simply go farm some mats.

Will you give your future division's Rear Admiral at least 3 days notice if you decide to resign? Y / N Yes I will

Will you use Fleet Teamspeak Voice Chat? Y / N Yes I will

Your answer have caused me some minor concern I would like to check into this abit before we will add you to the group.

I feel that our group derves people coming in with their best foot forward and not people looking for or trying to recognize weaknesses right off the bat.

We respect every member's opinions and try to address any concerns a member may have for the fleet's direction, however we must ensure the people of the 12th are resilient and determined to stay together and each member always trys to help to continuely unite and reenforce our groups determination to have fun and not focus on negitives, but rather constructive proposals to improve ourselves.

I'll agree with this criticism, but I also have to say that your flexibility is very good, especially in such a dynamic fleet as this one. We will listen to your ideas; we give the ideas of Ensigns the same consideration as the ideas of Admirals. Trust me, sometimes new, radical suggestions can be good sometimes, just not too many of them :D

Thanks man. That was the idea I was trying to portray. The fact that I'd be willing to bend. I said what I said because I believe in always being honest in any guild/fleet. I understand how what I said could cause concern. I really did not plan on being someone who entered and tried to start drama. Basically I just couldn't find an honest way to tell you what I would contribute to the fleet for the simple fact of not knowing what I would be assigned to.

You guys have to admit you have quite a number of different "sections" in your guild. So how could anyone being honest tell you exactly how they would contribute w/o knowing a head of time where they would be assigned.

Hopefully that makes sense.

Aye, I personally don't see anything wrong with the way you wrote it down and it shows that you want to help and improve the fleet. :)

Just be careful what you wish for, if somebody takes initiatives with something they usually end up doing the job as well. ;)

(I still have several jobs not related to my admiral function that I'd love to get some help with so faster progress is being made.) :P
