How did you hear about the 12th fleet? STO Forum


What made you interested in choosing the 12th fleet? It's one of the larger more well established fleets in the game, and I'd like to find a fleet I can be a part of and call home.

STO interests (Please number your interests from 1 to 7 in order of preference, with 1 being your main interest and 7 being your least interest): This is a tough one, as I like most of these things.

(3) Group PvE and Space Exploring (Creative Writing) [Exploration]

Note that all members can partake in any in-game event, your division does not dictate what you can do, it gives you a place to do what you prefer.

Divisions welcome all in-game careers, you do not have to join the division that your character specialises in in-game. Instead join the division that focusses on your main gameplay interest.

What days and times are you usually online?: Quite a bit, although I work at night, so my usual active time probably is more in line with AU/NZ or EU primetime. Weekends are easier for me to commit to if there are scheduled events, etc.

Have you ever played an MMORPG? If so, which one and how long: Too many to list here, although the only other one I currently play is Eve Online (been playing for 6+ years).

In a paragraph please explain how you will benefit the 12th fleet?

I'm looking for a place to call home in STO, a community that I can be a part of and contribute to. I'm pretty laid back, and easy to get along with. I know how to be part of a team. I'm pretty excited about Season 6 and Fleet Starbases coming out, I'd like to be able help build something like that with a well respected group like you all.

To be honest, I can't remember. I started playing at launch and joined a fleet called Serenity or something with that in it. It quickly dwindled, and I went inactive. I started playing STO again a few months ago and haven't found any other fleets that appealed to me.

Hmm... then we might've shared a former fleet by the name of Serenity's Grasp... and both left for the same reason. Glad to see you applied here though, I realize its a bit of a process, but it ensures that people who are in our fleet actually want to be in the fleet.

Ah, that may be it, although I truly don't remember. And the fact that there is a process is encouraging. I'm just really looking forward to getting through the process, as I really enjoy STO as of late, but I've yet to really experience the fleet aspect of it. Anyone I know that used to play has since moved on.
