How did you hear about the 12th fleet?
I was talking with someone on a sector map after I had asked if anyone else was doing captain rank missions as I was. Turns out marauder and several others in your fleet has reached that rank too.
I had also shown interest in your fleet's thread in the STO forums several days ago when I've been deciding who to join.

What made you interested in choosing the 12th fleet?
It appears that you are well-structured and aim to create a viable community in which I could participate and join in I have been alone on storyline missions ever since Lt commander rank and its been pretty dull leveling so far to captain grade 1 alone...

Have you ever played an MMORPG? If so, which one and how long:
I have played a lot for around 7 years now. Dransik for 2 years (now known as Ashen Empires), Priston tales 1 & 2, Flyff, Guild Wars, a few weeks of WoW, FF11 and several others. I have ran several successful guilds so I know the stresses of running a group of people. But in 12th Fleet, I just want to become a "soldier" or just in charge of a small group over time.

In a paragraph please explain how you will benefit the 12th fleet?
Well, I like to think that I would be of benefit in that I am quick thinking in my plans of action mid-battle, I can spot weaknesses to exploit, I am very sociable and easy to get along with, can follow orders or strategies in group missions effectively and I am a pretty heavy gamer with my time so I would most likely have the best equipment and ship

I am not sure what else to put in this and from the scale of applications this fleet seems to be getting, I hope this doesn't cost me a place.

Will you use Fleet Ventrillo Voice Chat?
Now, this is the tricky part which I feel might jeopardise my application. I am partially deaf so I cannot hear 100% through the speakers and prefer using subtitles when watching things on tv or turn it on in a game's options. Completely deaf in the left ear and half in the right which I wear a hearing aid in to amplify sound. I hear fine in person but I struggle when I cannot read the lips of the person talking as you might expect.
I can only hope that fleet text chat is not a problem and I wont be discriminated against for this. If this really becomes a problem over time, I'll see what I can do to make my hearing better but no promises.

Right, according to a recent post in the "Welcome!! New to the fleet? Come and read this!" thread, it appears tactical has some spots open. i will ammend my application to put trade in as a tertiary selection as it does not seem to fit the kind of jobs that i wish to do but i am indeed keen on joining the 12th fleet.

I have experience with crafting from previous MMO's and I had collected items from several hundred anomalous readings in my time in STO stored in my bank which I never used. Mainly because the items that were made from those were not better than the equipment I had found from battle and mission rewards.
So, I will allow for an acceptance in trade if my skills, patience, knowledge and determination shown in the tactical and engineering positions are not acceptable. I had reached Rear Admiral during open beta so I feel that proves those 4 points but of course, tactical and engineering squad leaders are more than welcome to find this out for themselves when we meet ingame.

Just confirming that I have sent a private message. I have experience in crafting and hope that the anamalous finds in STO play a bigger part than they did in open beta for me and others.
