How did you hear about the 12th fleet? STO forums

What made you interested in choosing the 12th fleet? I'm hoping to get into a group where there are opportunities to participate in fleet operations and perhaps advance into some responsibilities or leadership. So far 12th seems organized on the web so I thought that I'd give it a try.

Engineering and Logistics are my strongest skills. Exploration or Recon would be fun too. I'm already settling in with Engineer/Cruiser practice in OB and I'm most comfortable with it compared to tactical.

Have you ever played an MMORPG? If so, which one and how long:
I've played a few...here are some I can think of right now...
- EVE: 12mil XP but flying for hours got old, jump jump jump and then ganked by pirates was never fun when you had to buy and refit a ship.
- Anarchy Online: level 168 pre expansions. Lucifer's Dawn guild
- Ashceron's Call 1: Small guild absorbed into Blood clan on Darktide PVP server
- WOW+Lich: Level 74 Rogue. AOoUMs guild. Regular raids and mostly T4/5 full epics, and a Huntsman mount.
- Lineage 2: Level grinder, lost interest.
- LotR: Trial, didn't get into it
- Warhammer Online: Juggernaut guild. Short lived, couldn't get into it.
- PlanetSide: MMOFPS, but still an mmo and was a fun game. Played for a long time.
- IL2: Prop plane flight MMPFPS. VF 101 squadron flying missions. Very detailed command structure. Didn't have full controls so I couldn't compete. Did some custom plane skins for them though.

In a paragraph please explain how you will benefit the 12th fleet?
I am already going to be an active player in STO, but if accepted into the 12th fleet I would be using that time to benefit the fleet as well as my characters advancement. I intend on pursuing an engineer/support/cruiser role and have been practicing hull/shield repair to others during combat operations lately in Open Beta. I'm happy with my crew and ship equipment setup and have recorded this information to be used at release.

I don't know anyone in 12th fleet yet, so I'll be reading more of the forums and checking out more of the site. Release is Friday so I'm hoping to find a good group by then.

"Thanks Mendal. Since engineering is full, trade will be fine. I have experience with buy/sell EVE Market including hauling freight, buy/sell WOW Auction House, and IRL logistics so Trade/Supplies fits too. STO Exchange is pretty basic compared to any of those examples, but I'm hoping that it changes as the game evolves. Prices are out of control in OB but I was still able to find affordable MK IV gear. I'll check out the rest of the forums when I can see it. Thanks again for the Cadet trial."
