I for some reason feel obligated to go with the Later TNG Uniforms.

In the end though, since I am intel I will preffer to go with a solid black tactical uniform. With lots of body gear attached. I need my PP7 with a silencer attached aswell. ;)

You guys also know if you pre-order Star Trek Online through Steam (the platform most of us use for games already) the reward is a personal ablative armor that apparently masks any uniform you're wearing under it :(

Glad I did mine through amazon (borg bridge officer!)

Really? Are you sure? I got the impression that the armor was for the Ship, not for the individual. Where did you see that the armor would cover up the uniform?

Edit:
Ok I found where you see this information. I guess I assumed it would impact the ship. This is what the armor will look like. I think it is just a different sytle of uniform.

Definitely will be sporting the late DS9 uniform most of the time. Unless I create something that pleases me more.

each division on my ship (BOs) will have a distinctive but uniform look for each division...Engineering will likely look like the below link, the typical modernized look..science officers may have the TOS uniforms, and Tactical perhaps something like engineering but more rounded and a little more armorish.

I think I will have the same style of uniform for my entire crew. I will probably use the standard issue (whatever that may be) for the era. After all the yet uncreated Captain James Knight is quite the straight laced officer.

From what I have read, the standard for Federation will be TNG, not DS9. So for those that wish to have DS9 or TOS style will need to get a pre-order.
