I play Star WarsTOR, Diablo III and DC Universe. No issues to speak of. How long has the lighting system been around? I was playing before the March 1st update that took away XP Support. |

Yeah lighting has been before that. If you run diablo and shot or at max settings with no issues the sto should be ok. Have you tried a complete reinstall of the game? I have a feeling the hp software might be causing conflicts with the download |

Yea, I've uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times. I think that HP being the cause is highly probable. Perfect World suggested I do a clean boot and filter through programs until I see what the issue is...we shall see lol Thanks!! |

you can disable lighting 2.0 might want to try booting the game in safemode through the launcher. |

I've googled that (disabling lighting 2.0) but came up empty, can u advise how or send a link? thx |

on the launcher, click the options tab. should open a new window, then scroll all the down to the bottom and theres two check boxes. one if fullscreen, and the other is safe mode. then log in. mine ran in a windowed mode. then from the character select screen. you go to options (a little redundant at this point.) Graphics tab, "lights" lighting 2.0 on / off radio buttons on the right hand side |

way have fixed my issue. copied the gamepref and fxpref files from tribble and through them in the live folder. will know more tomorrow |

Oops!! Hmmm interesting, I'll have to check that out. Also game locks up in safemode as well. |
