I'm usually not really a big fan of using ts or vent either, but so far I've loved using it in this fleet ever since I joined.
It's been a great experience so far and I hope you'll have a similar experience. If you need any help with getting it set up, all the TS details are in Fleet talk in one of the stickies there. (There are only 5 stickies left after my anti sticky crusade, so it shouldn't be hard to find.)
I'll also turn your name blue in a few minutes so you have access to that part of the forums. ^_^
